Karakterisasi Sensor Gas Untuk Menentukan Tingkat Kesegaran Daging Ikan Tongkol
Abstract
Tuna is the most popular sea fish in Indonesia, if it is fresh, it is delicious and delicious to eat. Freshness of tuna depends on how it is stored and processed. In this study a system is designed to determine the level of freshness of fish meat. This system utilizes a sensor array using a gas sensor with type MQ-4, MQ-3 and MQ-135 to detect the smell of fish. Sensor data is processed to the microcontroller and the microcontroller sends sensor data to a PC that has been programmed using Microsoft Visual Basic. The test was carried out for three consecutive days. From the results of testing the MQ-3 sensor shows the highest response value on the second day with a value of 1.45 V and the MQ-135 sensor shows the lowest response on the first day with a value of 0.04 V. In this system is expected to replace the human sense of smell and help humans to get fish meat COB is fresh and worthy of consumption.
