Analisis Dampak Usaha Tenun Puteri Mas Terhadap Perekonomian Masyarakat Desa Sebauk Kecamatan Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis
Abstract
This research aims to analyze the impact of the Tenun Puteri Mas business on the economy of the community in Desa Sebauk and explore its contribution to social welfare through job creation and community empowerment. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with business owners, workers, and local community members involved in the production and distribution processes. Direct observations were also conducted to understand the operational dynamics of the business, including production techniques, workforce management, and marketing strategies. The results indicate that the Tenun Puteri Mas business significantly contributes to the local economy, particularly by creating jobs and increasing household incomes. Additionally, this business plays a crucial role in empowering women and preserving local culture through the production of traditional woven fabrics. However, challenges related to marketing and limited raw materials present obstacles that need to be addressed to support further business development, including tapping into export potential. With the right strategies, the Tenun Puteri Mas business has great potential to continue providing economic benefits while preserving the cultural heritage of the local community.
