Abstract

Owning pets, particularly cats, brings happiness and strengthens familial connections. Nonetheless, monitoring these adventurous animals can be challenging, especially when owners are away from home. The potential for them to get lost, face accidents, or be stolen causes anxiety for their caregivers. This study proposes a GPS-based monitoring system for cats that employs Internet of Things (IoT) technology. By integrating IoT GPS devices and Node MCU, the system aims to offer a solution for tracking cats' locations in real-time. This tool's design is intended to help owners ensure the safety and tracking of their beloved pets.
