Abstract

This research explores how well using mobile devices to learn languages works to help 47 vocational students at the Bengkalis State Polytechnic improve their English skills. Student abilities in speaking, listening, reading, and writing were assessed using paired-sample t-tests, in a pre-experimental setup involving tests before and after the intervention. The data demonstrated considerable gains in all four areas (p < 0.001), suggesting that learning with mobile devices is a successful method for enhancing English language skills. The discoveries emphasize the function of mobile-assisted language learning in encouraging self-directed, interesting, and technologically advanced education, thus presenting an advantageous substitute for standard teaching methods in vocational training.
