Least Square Based for First, Second and Third Order Modelling

Abstract

Modeling using the Least square can produce a variety of approach models ranging from order one, order two and order three. This study looked at the influence of the three orders when given step response and frequency response. The data used to obtain the model from the input data in the form of voltage and output in the form of current from the process of estimating the Least Square parameter. From the experimental results, it was obtained that the first-order response was more stable than the second- and third-order responses. For third-order response, it has an overshoot and needs to prepare a more robust system so that it is not easily affected by noise.
