Analisa Pengaruh Beberapa Bentuk Impeller Sudu Pompa terhadap Kecepatan Aliran dan Kinerja Pompa
Abstract
The pump is a machine for moving fluid. The pump moves fluid from a low point to a higher one, to find out the variation in the number and shape of blades to the flow velocity. In the final project, the object of research is measuring the number and shape of blades on the flow velocity and pump performance. The study was conducted to determine the number and shape of impeller blades on the flow velocity or not, and after conducting research. Impellers with (blades 46 straight) get results with an average value of 61.8 liters in 3 minutes, and impellers with (blades 41 zig-zag) get results with a value of 78.46 liters in 3 minutes. So it can be concluded that the efficient impeller used is the impeller with 41 zig-zag blades, because the result of the number and shape of the blades needed is an increase in the addition with the number of blades 46 78.46 liters in 3 minutes. So the number and shape of impeller blades largely determine the flow speed and pump performance.
